Riyadh Crescent plans to acquire Manchester United striker
Saudi club Riyadh Crescent are reportedly interested in acquiring Martial from Manchester United, and if it comes to fruition, it would mean that the French striker, who has been relatively disillusioned with the Red Devils, would become club teammates with Neymar.

Reports suggest that Riyadh Crescent are currently luring Fulham striker Mitrovic to join the club with a £46million offer, and if the takeover fails then it will be all hands on deck to bring in Martial.

Martial joined Manchester United in the summer of 2015 for a superb £36m transfer fee, although his years at Old Trafford were unsuccessful and he spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Sevilla.

Martial has been given just six minutes of playing time in the first two rounds of the season, and it is widely believed in the media that Ten Hahn would like to let the striker, who has been plagued by injuries and has a style of play that is unappealing to United fans, go, as long as he is able to secure a proper offer.

It was also reported that Mourinho was interested in selling Martial during his tenure as United manager, but Martial was not able to do so because he had an iron fan - one of the club's owners, Joel Glazer. And at that time, United has been closely watching Barcelona midfielder Rakitic, and believe that the sale of Martial is the best way to raise the necessary funds, and ultimately because Martial stayed in the team, so it also indirectly led to the failure to sign Rakitic.

In other news, West Ham United are also looking at Martial, but in terms of financial strength, the Hammers are clearly unable to match the transfer fees and wages offered by the Middle East giants.
