Alonso Signs Gentlemen's Pact with Drug Companies
Javi Alonso, who officially extended his contract with Leverkusen until 2026 earlier this month, has reportedly reached a gentleman's agreement with the club that he can leave at any time if his preferred club extends an olive branch and the offer is right.

Alonso only took over the reins of the Pill Factory last season, but since then his coaching performance has been quite amazing, taking the team all the way from the relegation zone to the Europa League, and also reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup.

This season will be Alonso coaching Leverkusen's first full season, the club also invested more than 50 million euros in this summer to introduce Zaka, Hoffman, Artur, Boniface, Kovar, Grimaldo and other new recruits, they hope that the team can be under the leadership of Alonso to challenge the strongest teams such as Bayern and Dortmund.

Previously, there were media reports that Alonso may return to Real Madrid as a manager in the future.
